Whitney Johns is an extraordinary woman, and if you ever have the pleasure of meeting this fitness goddess, you’ll come away with the very same impression. Born in Boise, Idaho, the magnificently beautiful brunette did not fit in with the other girls.
“I was never very good at sports, dance, gymnastics or any of the other things little girls should do well,” Whitney told Strong Fit during an exclusive interview. Whitney also had a long list of maladies to overcome. She started getting migraines when she was a child, and recalls those debilitating migraines from the couch, where she’d spend eight hours with a cold pack pressed against her forehead. But that wasn’t all. Whitney suffered from anxiety, depression, stress and ADD.
Whitney says she took medications to manage symptoms but struggled with their side effects. “I just felt so fragile all the time. I was tired of feeling like I was this old woman in this young girl’s body that couldn’t do all the things I wanted to do.”
Whitney decided to take matters into her own hands. “I spent years researching and self-testing to get to the bottom of my issues,” she stated. “It became clear that to heal my body, I had to make nutrition and lifestyle choices that were going to improve my internal health, as well as my outer physique.”
And oh, what a physique Whitney built!
Winning championships in both the NPC and WBFF, Whitney ventured into the modeling world, where she became one of the world’s leading fitness models. Using her fame as a platform, Whitney took the entrepreneurial route and became the founder of her own nutrition company, appropriately titled Whitney Johns Nutrition. “My goal is to help as many people as I can, assist them in learning the right way to go about their fitness and wellness journey,” Whitney offered. “The only diet or workout program that’s going to work is the one you can realistically follow. It should prioritize holistic health so you can sustain the results and feel good both inside and out.”
Whitney continued, “gut health, mental health, and hormone health are pillars upon which my philosophy rests. My programs and products have been created to support those of us on a mission. From the multifaceted individual who has a lot on their plate, refuses to settle, and fights daily to become the best version of themselves to the person who works hard, plays hard, and wants to look and feel great.”
It was recently revealed in Vitality Magazine that Whitney was named the newest #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel roster, a huge platform from which Whitney can tell her story. With Victoria’s Secret abandoning the “Angels” concept and Sports Illustrated tinkering with the formula that made the Swimsuit edition so popular, a void has been created at the very top of the modeling scene. Stepping up to fill the void? WWE legend and multi-industry disruptor Paul Heyman, who has been labeled one of the top 100 global marketers by Advertising Age magazine based on having his finger on the pulse of the marketplace in situations just like this.
