Our cover model this month is #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel Sammy Jo, the sensational swimsuit and intimate apparel model who made global headlines earlier this year when she was named the new #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel by multi-industry disruptor Paul Heyman. To understand what a seismic shift has been going on in the supermodel genre, one has to understand what a wild few months it has been in the modeling world itself. First, Victoria’s Secret, the world’s most successful lingerie and “sexywear” brand, attempted to dip its corporate toe back into the waters that used to house their top-of-the-chart “Angels” by bringing back several of their former top sensations under the new heading of “Icons.” By also grabbing hot-as-hot-can-be Emily Ratajkowski to mix with “Icons” like former “Angel” Candice Swanepoel, Victoria’s Secret made a hard push to recapture their past glory. But by mixing these world class supermodels with their all-inclusive roster, the public did not bite as hard as VS was hoping, and the campaign was met with lackluster success at best.
Then, Sports Illustrated decided to take a bite of the supermodel apple once again by bringing back the legendary beauty Kate Upton for their annual swimsuit edition, only it would appear that SI made the same mistake VS made, in mixing the impossible-beauty with an all-inclusive roster, and the results from the once-rabid SI Swimsuit crowd was mixed. As VS and SI fought to regain their supermodel trending chart dominance, one brand stood tall above the rest. The “anti-influencer” influencer brand #HustleBootyTempTats, which is the no.1 charting supermodel brand in the entire world right now in 2024, with momentum that suggests that fact may not change anytime soon.
As international influencer Sammy Jo made her #HustleBootyTempTats debut (in FHM Canada, we are proud to say) earlier this year, it needs to be pointed out that no other #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel debut ever tracked and trending as hot and hard and fast as Sammy Jo’s. “She’s a true life phenomenon,” fashion-forward supermodel photographer Elm Diaz offered us during an exclusive interview during Sammy Jo’s FHM cover shoot. “Rarely has anyone come along that captured the modeling’s world attention across so many genres!”
Sammy Jo has done just that, dominating social media and message board conversations about lingerie models, swimsuit models, fashion models, just plain ol’ models and of course, the genre she is now most closely associated with, supermodels. “Sammy Jo rocketed up to the top in what has to be considered record time,” Elm Diaz noted. “The public was fascinated with her first FHM cover, which is why she’s back for a second cover so quickly! She’s FHM’s super hot cover model by popular demand!”
As FHM Canada exclusively reported in our February, 2024 edition, Sammy Jo was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and was a true nomad as a child. This is the “conspiracy theory” Sammy Jo will laugh about to describe why she’s such a global traveler. And it’s in those global travels that Sammy Jo has amassed a worldwide fanbase that is now clamoring for more Sammy Jo, all the time. Back in February, FHM reporter Daniel Watson exclaimed that Sammy Jo’s beauty “was endless” and that once one gets into a conversation with her, “she’s as smart as she is beautiful.”
Watson continued, “And then, just as you start to be mesmerized by this woman, she’s running out the door to catch another flight overseas; another city; another assignment; another booking; another chance to display what Paul Heyman knew when he recruited Sammy Jo to become the new #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel.”
As we get deeper into 2024, any analytical review of the supermodel world would be as follows: Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated’s attempt at mixing past glory with the politically-correct “all-inclusive” culture forced both brands to take two steps back, while the #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel brand took several steps forward with exclusive photoshoots with the world’s most sensational photo subjects, in this case the breathtaking Sammy Jo. And FHM? Well, we’re riding high right now, aren’t we? After all, we’re featuring #HustleBootyTempTats supermodel Sammy Jo on the cover once again. And something tells us you’ll be seeing even more of Sammy Jo in upcoming editions of FHM very soon!
